TEMPORARY PROTECTION ORDER
AND NOW, this ~ day of Februarv, 1996, upon
presentation and consideration of the within Petition, it is
hereby ordered as follows:
1. Respondent, Jeffrey Meuler, date of birth October
4. 1960, and Social Security number unknown, is prohibited from
approaching, abusing, threatening, or harassing Petitioner,
either physically or verbally, wherever she may be.
2. Respondent is excluded from Petitioner's current
residence, and any residence which Petitioner may occupy while
this Order remains in effect. If Respondent is present at the
subject premises when this Order is served or enforced,
Respondent shall be escorted immediately therefrom by the deputy
sheriff or other law enforcement officer performing service or
enforcement. Respondent is prohibited from entering or
attempting to enter such premises or any other residence
Petitioner may choose to establish.
3. Respondent is directed to refrain from all
harassing communication with Petitioner's relatives.
4. Respondent is prohibited from having any contact
with Petitioner, including entering or telephoning Petitioner's
home, school or place of employment.
5. Respondent is prohibited from stalking Petitioner
as that term is defined in the Crimes Code, 18 Pa. C.S. 92709.
6. Petitioner is awarded temporary primary physical
and legal custody of the parties' minor children: Jeffrey Meuler,
born May 30, 1983; and Michael Mueler, born November 1, 1988.
7. The Prothonotary, Sheriff, and local law
enforcement agencies are directed to accept, file and serve
copies of this petition and Order without prepayment of fees.
8. A certified copy of this Order shall be served on
the Harrisburg city Police Department if said department is
within the appropriate jurisdiction for Petitioner's residence
and/or school or place of employment, or on Dauphin County
Control as to any jurisdiction within Dauphin County but outside
the City of Harrisburg. Should the police come into contact with
Respondent, and should Respondent allege that he has not been
served with this Order, the police officer shall immediately
serve the Order upon him.
9. This Order shall be enforced by any law
enforcement agency in any county where a violation occurs. As
provided in 23 Pa. C.S. H1l3(a) of the Act, "[a]n arrest for
violation of an order issued pursuant to this act may be without
warrant upon probable cause whether or not the violation is
committed in the presence of the police officer...."

This Order shall remain in effect until modified
by the Court aft~r notice and hearing. 23 Pa. C.S.
11. Respondent is hereby notified that if he violates
this Order, he may be held in indirect criminal contempt, which
is punishable by a fine of up to $1000.00 and/or by a jail
sentence of up to six (6) months or civil contempt, which is
punishable by a jail sentence of up to six months.
12. A hearing on this matter is scheduled for the
11h day of March, 1996, at 11:00 A.M.,in Court Room No.5, Third
Floor, Dauphin County Courthouse, Front & Market Streets,
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

C. Prohibiting Respondent from having any contact
with Petitioner, including entering or telephonIng
her home, school or place of employmer.t;
D. Prohibiting Respondent from stalking Petitioner as
that term is defined in the Crimes Code, 18 Pa.
C.S. S2709;
E. Directing Respondent to refrain from all harassing
communication with Petitioner or her relatives;
and
F. Awarding custody of the parties' minor children to
Petitioner.
II. After hearing, and pursuant to section 1 of the Act,
23 Pa. C.S. S6108, enter a final protection order continuing the
relief set forth above, for a period of one (1) year, and further
requiring that Respondent:
A. Pursuant to section 5(d) of the Act, 23 Pa.C.S. S
6107(d), pay all taxable costs of this action;
B. Pay attorneys fees for the use of the County of
Dauphin in the ~mount of $250.00;
C. Pay Petitioner $ per week for the
support and care the minor children until a
final Order of support is entered by Domestic
Relations; and
D. Allow petitioner to peacefully retrieve her
personal possessions and those of the minor
children from Respondent's residence located at
