Road, Ncwville, Cumbcrland County, Pcnnsylvania, hCl'cinatlcr rcfcrrcd to as
"CONTRACTOR", and SF.UlON S, COlliCK and ROIIERTA K, COlliCK, husband
and wife, of 20 Long Lanc Road, Ncwville, Cumbcrland County, Pcnnsylvania,
hereinafter refcrrcd to as "OWNER". whcreby thc formcr undertook and agreed to erect
and construct a residcncc on that cel1ain tract of ground situate in Lower Frankford
Township, Cumberland County. Pennsylvania, being known as l.ot No.2. Plan Book 71,
Page 145.
NOW. THEREFORE, TIllS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: That the said
CONTRACTOR, for and in considcration of the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar to it in hand
paid by OWNER. thc rcceipt whcreof is hcrcby acknowlcdgcd, and the further
consideration mentioned in thc agrecment aforcsaid, for themselves and thcir
subcontractors, and all parties acting through or under them, covcnant and agree that no
mechanic's liens or claims shall bc filcd or maintaincd by them or any of them against the
said buildings and thc lot of ground appurtcnantthcreto for or on account of llny work
done or matcrials funllshed by thcm or any of them under said contract or otherwise, for,
towards, in. or about the crection and construction of the said buildings on the lot above
described, and thc said CONTRACTOR, for itself, its subcontractors and others under it
hereby expressly waivcs and reliOl]ui:;hes the right to have, file, and maintain any
mechanic's liens or claims against the said buildings or any of them, and agree that this
instrument, waiving the right of lien, shall be an independent covenant.
