receipt whereuf is herchy acknowledgcd. and the further cunsideration mentioned in the agreement
alilresaid. Ill.. himsell: and his subcontractors. and all parties acting through or under them. covenant
and agree thm no mechanic's liens or e1aims shall be tiled or maintained by them or any of them
against the said buildings and improvcments and the lut of ground appurtenant thereto li)r or on
account uf any wurk done or materials furnished hy them or till)' of them under said contract or
otherwise. till'. towards. in. or ahoutthe erection and construction of the said improvcments on the
lot ahove descrihed. and the said Contractor. lilr himself: his suhcontractors and others under him
hereby expressly waivc and relilUluish the right to have. tile. and maintain any mechanic's liens or
claims against the said buildings or any of them. and agree that this instrument. waiving the right of
lien. shall he an independent cuvcnant.
