6. Appellant contends that the three year suspension period ordered by the Department
on April 5, 1996 was excessive punishment.
7, Appellant contends that the alleged "Iaulty inspection" on said 19113 Mercury Cougar
was never reinspected by Appellant to conlirmthe contention of the Department that the brake
linings were in lact faulty.
8. Appellant further asserts thut the second report noted in the Appellant's Exhibit A
hereto attached concerning a 1983 Chrysler l.ebaron Station Wagon, whereby Department
contended that the "mul1ler systcm was faulty:' is in error. To the contrary, Appellant asserts
that the rnuftler was in proper working ordcr at the time of said inspection.
9. Additionally, Appellant asserts that the Chrysler l.ebaron Station Wagonl'eferred to in
the above paragraph, upon request of Appellant to reinspect. Department refused thereto.
10. Appellant asserts that the third report noted in Appellant's Exhibit A hereto attached
regarding an alleged a "Iaulty inspection" on a 1990 Ford Prohe, was in error on the part of the
Department.
II. Regarding the above referenced 1990 Ford Probe, Appellant asserts that the
Department's determination that the brake rotors were .030 in violal1on ofVehic1e Inspection
Standards. if any, has a de minimis ollensc notation that should not result in suspension"
12. Appellant further asserts regarding the above 1990 Ford Probe that the amount of
mileage on the Ford Probe odometer subsequent to said vehicle inspection was excessive and
could well have been the laetor causing the alleged violation subsequently noted by the
Department..
