hereinatter referred to aa Contractor,

hereinafter referred to as Owner, whereby the tormer undertook and
agreed to erect and conatruct a houaing rehabilitation project
in the Borough ot Carliale
NOW THBRBFORB, THIS AGRBBHBNT WITNESSETH. That the said
Contractor, tor and in conaideration of the su~ of 1$1.ee) Dollar to
in hand paid by Owner, the receipt whereof
ia hereby aOknowledged, and the further conaideration a.ntioned in the
agreement aforeaaid, for themaelves and their suboontractora, and all
parties acting through or under the., covenant and agree that no
aechanic's liens or clai.s shall be filed or .aintained by the. or any
of the. against the said buildings and the lot of ground appurtenant
thereto for or on account of any work done or .ateria1s furnished by
the. or any of the. under .aid contract or otherwise, for, towards,
in, or ebout the erection and construotion of the said buildings on
the lot above desoribed and the said Contraotor, for theaaelves, their
subcontractors and others under thea hereby expressly waive and
relinquish the right to have, file, and .aintain any .echanic's li.ns
or claias against the said buildings or any of thea, and agree that
this instruaent, waiving the right of lien, shall be an independent
covenant.
