C. .\ I II 'll:;F.{~"1 I.'~ , lP,' '" " 6, Plaintiff paid Defendant rent on a monthly basis for her usa and enjoyment of the premises. 7, In December of 1995, Plaintiff advised Defendant that she Intended to vecate the premises, 8, Plaintiff vacated the premises on or before 2 February 1996, 9, Plaintiff provided Defendant with her current address, 10, Plaintiff was never edvlsed by Defendant that thera were any damagea or othar problems with tha pramlses which would permit Defendant to retain any of her security deposit, 11, Defendant has failed or refused to return the security deposit to Plaintiff despite repeated requests by Plaintiff for return of said security deposit. 12. Defendant Is In violation of the Landlord/Tenant Act, specifically 68 P,S. Section 250,612, es 8 result of his failure to return the security deposit plus accumulated Interest within thirty (30) days of Plaintiff vacating the premises, 13, Plaintiff Is enti,tled to double the security deposit, or $800.00, as damages 8S a result of Dafendant's failure to return the security deposit, 14, Plaintiff will Incur legal fees in the amount of $600.00 as a result of Defendant's failure to. return the security deposit, 15, Plaintiff is entitled to receiva Interest at the statutory rate of six (6%) percent from September of 1988 until 2 February 1996, said Interest totaling 2 $237.50, plus an additional six (6%) percent on the outstanding amount owed to date. 16.
