AND NOW comea John H. Hocker, Plaintiff, represented by
Griffie , Associates and files this Complaint In Replevin in
support thereot avers the following:
1. Plaintiff is John H. Hocker, an adult individual
residing at 617 North East Street, Carlisle, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania.
2. Defendant is an adult individual residing at 203 Log
Cabin Road, Newville, Culllberland county, Pennsylvania.
3. Plaintiff and Defendant resided together until February
21, 1996.
4. On or about January 30, 1996, Defendant had informed
Plaintiff that he must remove himself from the residence within
three weeks of said date,
5. Defendant informed Plaintiff that he could at a later
date remove his items, including personal items, tools, equipment
and vehicles from the property located at 203 Log Cabin Road,
Newville, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, upon contacting her by
telephone or by letter.
6. To date, only a few of said items have been allowed to
be returned to Mr. Hocker.

6. To date, only a few of said items have been allowed to
be returned to Mr. Hocker.
7. On or about April 9, 1996, a letter of demand for the
return of said items was forwarded to Defendant's attorney, Sally
Winder, ESq\lire. A copy of said letter or demand is attached
hereto and enclosed herein by reference as Exhibit "A".
8. To date there has been no response from the ~8fendant or
Defendant's counsel to said demand letter.
9. There are numerous items still located at 203 Log Cabin
Road which belong to Plaintiff. The value of said items is
$22,980.00. A copy of a list of said items and their value is
attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "8".
Defendant's wrongful detention of said property has prevented
Plaintiff from using same, all to his damage in the sum of
FIVE THOUSAND and XX/IOO ($5,000.00) DOLLARS.
10. Many of these items are of value to the plaintiff, Mr.
Hocker, because he uses them in his day-to-day work.
11. Many of these items have sentimental value to Mr.
Hocker.
12. These items belong to Mr. Hocker as he brought them to
the household at the time that ho moved in on or about March
1987.
