COMPLAINT
I. Plaintill's, Jerry A. Weigle, Esquire und David p, Perkins, Esquire, are udult individuals trading
IIIld doing business us Murk, Weigle IIIld Perkins, IIIld ure engaged in the general pructice oflaw, with
principal business address of 126 Eust King Street, Shippensburg, Cumberlund County, Pcnnsylvllllia.
2. David lIoang and LlIIllloang are adult individuals truding and doing business as Lundau
Jewelers with principal business address and residence being 27 West King Street, Shippensburg,
Cumberland County, Pcnnsylvunia.
3. During the month of August, 1995, at the Delendants' request, plaintilfs' law finn began legal
representation of the Defendants in a dispute with the Shippensburg Com Festival Committee over
the denial of the Defendants' application to sdl food at the 1995 Shippensburg Corn Festival to be
hold on August 26, 1995.
4. Plaintiffs' legal work involved conferences with Defendants, orul und written communication
to the Com Festival Committee, Borough of Ship pens burg, Department of Agriculture, Office of the
State Attorney General, Shippensburg Regional Police und the Pennsylvania Human Relations
Commission, much of which was performed under "emergency circumstances".
5. The legal fees which plaintiffs charged for their services in the representation of the
Detendunts were fair und reasonable and customary for legal services of that churacter and nature.
A copy of plaintiffs' itemized billing for services rendered is attached hereto, made a part hereof IIIld
murked Exhibit "^",
6. Delendants promised to pay for the legal services rendered and indicated on at teust one
occasion that they would pay whatcvcr was necessary to fight the injustice which had occurred.
7. The total amount churged by the plaintill's lor their legal representation of the Delendunts wus
$517.50, In addition, plaintiffs' ~l1Iing included reimbursement for costs previously advunced in
1IIl0ther legal matter und a billing lee lor non-payment of the 11I110unt in dispute in their litigation for
a total amount claimed and sued tor $551.14,

8, Dlllcndants accepted the legal work performed. were grateful for plaintills' involvllment on
thllir behal I' and promised to pay thdr account balancll both orally and in writing.
9. At no timll did Defendants indicate that they were dissatisfied in any way with the plaintiffs'
legal representation on their behall~
10. To date. no payments on the disputed account balance have been made despite repeated
demands by the plaintilTs to do so,
WHEREFORE, plaintitls demandjudl!cment against the DefcndWlts for $551.14 plus interest
thereon from September 14, 1995 (date of original billing) plus costs of suit.
