3, MlchBel W. Curran-Hays and Midas Muffler Shop, 0.1,5, #N-267, Is filing this
timely appeal of this slJspenslon at the above docket number,
4, Pursuant to the statute governing this appeal, 75 P,S, ~ 4724 (b) Michael
W. Curran-Hays and Midas Muffler Shop, O,I,S, #N-267, are entitled to a hearing de novo
before this Court concerning Its susj:enslon,
5, Michael W. Curran-Hays and Midas Muffler Shop, O,I.S. #N-267, have valid
defenses to the charges against It, which charges are set forth in Exhibit "A".
6. The charge Is that Petitioner furnished a Certificate of Inspection without an
Inspection to a 1980 Ford, Fiesta, Registration Number AMS9767 and for fraudulent record
keeping by mechanic Thomas L. Brown, Operator Number 22.335-570, The suspensions
Imposed are to run concurrently from June 14, 1996, for one year as above stated.
7. That Thomas L. Brown was the previous Manager of Midas Muffler Shop,
O.I,S, #N-287, who was Immediately fired by your Petitioner, Michael W. Curran-Hays,
upon discovering the actions of his previous Manager, which were totally unknown to your
Petitioner.
