The parties hereto agree that in the best intere5ts of the Chil~ren both Mother an~ Father shall retain ~hared legal and shared physical cuslody of lhe Children. Father shall have reasonable rights of partial custody and visitation as the parties lIlay agre. not to exceed a five month period i.n any year (as lIIe..ured from the date on which thi.s petition is last s1gned by the parU.. herein). Mother shall not unreasonably deny Fether'lI requests for partial custody. 6. Due to mother's present military statulI, Father shall have partial custody rights with the Children during the aUlIIIlIer month. of 1996. Father IIhall provide a minimum of fourteen days notice to Mother of his desire to exercise partial custody with child outside the county of the Mother's residence. In the event of any Ger ious illness of or injury to either Child, the Parent having custody of the child(ren) shall immediately communicate with the other Parent by telephone or other rapid means (not for example U.S. mail service), informing her/him of the nature of the problem, and immediately make arranqements to retux-n Child to the cere of Mother (i f t!'le incident occurred in the care of the Father). In the event Mother elects to allow Child to remain with Father durinll any period of illness or injury involving Chlld(ren), Mother shall have the right to visit Child as often as she desires, consistent with the proper medical care of Childlren).
