WHEREAS, presbyterian Homes, Inc., of 1217 Slate HIli Road, Camp HIli, Cumberland
county, pennsylvania, Is about to enter Into a contract with R. S. Mowery & sons, Inc., of
Carlisle, Pennsylvania, for the construction of a personal care unit, kitchen, and laundry
area addition to the Swaim Health Center at Green Ridge Village, 210 Big spring Road,
West Pennsboro Township, Cumberland county, Pennsylvania.
NOW, July 17, 1996, at the time of and Immediately before the execution of the
principal contract, and before any authority has been given by the said preSbyterian
Homes, Inc., to the said R, S. Mowery & Sons, Inc" to commence work on the said building,
or purchase materials for the same In consideration of the making of the said contrac;t
with R, 5, Mowery & sons, Inc" and the further consideration of One Dollar to R, S, Mowery
& sons, Inc., paid by presbyterian Homes, Inc" It Is agreed that no lien shall be flied against
the building or property by the contractor, nor any subcontractor, nor bY any of the
material men or workmen nor any other person for any labor, or materials purchased, or
extra labor or materials purc;hased for the completion of said building construction, the
right to file such liens being expressly waived,
