At the doresaid time and place PlaintiU, Judy A. Ginqrich entered the premises to purchase a meal. She went to the salad bar area and prepared a eallsd from the items oUered Oil the Defendant's salad bar includinq lettuce, croutons, and placed a c~eam type salad dressinq over the salad. She ate and swallowed parte of the salad and noticed that some of the hard pieces in the salad were glass particles. 9. She immediately reported the incident to the restaurant supervisor who confirmed that there was glass in the food items offered at the salad bar and reconwenced that she be examined at a hospital. 10. The Plaintiff did go to the Holy Spirit Hospital and was x-rayed. The x-rays showed certain particles in her abdomen to be consistent with the pattern .hown by qlass. 2 11.
