1. The Plaintiff, MELISSA L. BI':CKER, is an adult
individual residing at 1520 Chatham ROlld, camp Hill
cumberland county, Pennsylvania 17011,
2. The Defendant, DANIEL E. BECKER, (SSNI 1~9-48-
9140) (Date of Birthl 6-24-57), iB an adult individual
residing at 1111 C-2 Yverdon Drive, Camp Hill, cumberland
county, Pennsylvania 17011.
3. Plaintiff and Defendant are husband and wife,
4, The parties are the parents of two ohildren, DAVIS
D. BJilCKER, born JanUal'y 30, 1991 and ROilS J, BJilCKER, born
June 11, 1993,
5. sinoe approximately September 24, 1995, the Defen-
dant has ottempted to oause and has intentionally, knowing-
ly, or reoklessly caused bodily injury to the Plaintiff, has
plaoed the Plaintiff and the ohildren in reasonable fear of
imminent serious bodily injury, and has knowingly engaged in
a course of conduot or repeatedly committed aots toward the
Plaintiff and/or the children undor oircumstances which have
plaoed the Plaintiff and/or th~ children in reasonable fear
of bodily injury. 'l'hill hAIl inoluded, but: ill not limited to,
the foLlowing IIp.oifio instanoes of abusel
a. On August ~4, 1996 while picking up tho ohil-
dren from VlnLntLf~, Defendant verbally abused Plain-
titf with profnnl.ty. In his rage, Defendant nearly
injured the partielll lion, UBvill, by alolling the oar
door on the ohiId'Q hand. Defendant then prooeeded to
baok out of the driveway eo reoklellsly that: he nearly
ran ovor Plaintiff, piaoing her in fear of sorioue
bodily injury.
b. On Auguet 26, 1996, after obviouely bocoming
intoxioated, Dofendant initiated an altercation with
Plaintiff and her fBthor. In the presence of the
children, Defendant epoke to Plaintiff in vulgar lan-
guage. As Plaintiff and tho children attempted to
drivo away, Dofendnnt opened the ollr door to
Plaintiff I B Toyota calnry, and prooeeded to foroibly
remove the door from its hinges. Such actione of
Dehndant required the intervention of the po1J.oe, and
chargee of criminal mischief against him are pending.
o. on or about July 14, 1996, the Defendant
called the plaintiff vile namee, grabbed the Plllintiff
bY the arln and hand, epun her around, threw her to the
ground, and foroibly struck her on the ehoulder, oaus-
ing soreneee,
d, on or about July 13, 1996, when the Plaintiff
attempted to remove handi-wipes from the Defendant, the
Defendant grabbed her by the arm and foroibly SPUI' her
around, causing her to fall to the floor. When the
Plaintiff was able to get up, the Defendant grabbed
both of her arme and pushed her into a glaes fieh tank,
e. On or about September 23, 1996, the Defendant
grabbod the Plaintiff by both arme, puehed her againet
a door, and then with his hand foroibly shoved the
Plaintiff's ohin, causing her head to strike the door.
Wnon th_ PlRintiff nttempted to dial 911, the Pefendllnt
slapped thD Plaintiff in the faoo, onusin~ pain, and
then pu~hQd hor bnokwards onto n bed. When the Plain-
tiff tviod to sit up, tho Defendant put his hand on her
faoe nnd pushed hor backwnrds again.
6. The Plnintiff belieVo~ and therefore avers that
.ho nnd/or the childron nra in immediato and present danger
of IIbuse frol11 the lJofondnnt shOUld thay t"el1udn in the JUad-

joined from harassing and stalking the plaintiff, and from
harassing the Plaintiff's relatives.
9. The Plaintiff desires that the Defendant be re-
strained from entering het" place at employment.
10. The Plaintiff desires that the Defendant be en-
joined from rellloving, dallla'iJing, dostroying 01: selling any
