1, The mOVing party is JUlie K. Patrick, an adult
individual residing at 2903 Dickinson Ave., Camp Hill, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania 17011.
2, The moving party is the natural mother and primary
custodian of the minor child, Alec Logan Patrick, date of birth
4/25/94, pursuant to Order of this Honorable court, dated
February 10, 1997, a copy of which is attached hereto and marked
as Exhibit "II".
3. The responding party is David W. Patrick, an adult
individual, with a last known address of 1607 Susquehanna st.,
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17102, and who is represented by legal
counsel, Charles E. Petrie, Esquire, with a business address of
3~2B Brisban street, Pa~tanq, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17111.

4. In the e~i.tinq order of February 10, 1097, the
r..ponding party, David W, Patrick, Was granted partial cu.tody
upon proof of .atisfactory proof or satisfaotory oompletion of
drug and aloohol counseling, which partial oustody inoluded
alternating weekends rr.om Friday at ~IJO p,m. until sunday at
7100 p,m,
5. The moving party has filed a Petition for
MOdification alleging, among other things, that David W. Patrick
did not pick up his son from day care at the soheduled time to
begin his most recent weekend, has missed work since that time
without notice, anq has been e~cluded from his residence by his
our~ent paramour, and further alleging that the paramour has
informed the moving party that David W. Patrick is abusing drugs,
particularly crack cocaine. ^ copy of the Petition is attached
hereto, marked as E~hibit "8", and incorporated herein by
reference,
6. The moving party, Julie K. Patrick, is in immediate
fear for the physical and emotional wellbeing of the parties'
four yoar old child, Alec Logan Patrick, should he be subjected
to unsupervised visitation with his father under the current
oircumstanoes.

Patrick, hal not contacted the Petitioner al of the date of the
preparation of this Petition, that bein9 Tueeday, April 6, 1999.
C. The Petitioner contacted the Respondent'l
place of employment, acottl' Bar & Grille, and wal informed that
he hae mileed work without any notice, nor has there been any
communication between the Respondent and his employer.
D. The Petitioner, Julie K. Patrick, has been in
contact with the RlIlpondent's current paramour, who has informed
her that Mr, Patrick hae been excluded from their dwellinq by the
paremour, and further has been informed that the Respondent,
David W. Patrick, is abusinq drugs, particularly crack cocaine.
WHEREFORE, the Petitioner requests that the Court
modify the exietin9 order for custody because it will be in the
best interest of the child.

Patrick, has not contacted the Petitioner as of the date of the
preparation of thie Petition, that bainq Tueeday, April 6, 1999.
C. The Petitioner contacted the Respondent's
place of employment, Bcotts' Bar & orille, and was informed that
he has mis.ed work without any notice, nor has there been any
communication between the Respondent and his employer.
D. The Petitioner, JUlie K. Patrick, has been in
contact with the Respondent's current paramour, who has informed
her that Mr. Patrick has been exclUded from their dwellinq by the
paramour, and further has been informed that the Respondent,
David W. Patrick, i. abusinq druqs, particularly crack coaaine.
WHEREFORE, the Petitioner requests that the Court
modify the existinq Order for custody because it will be in the
best inter.st of the child.

the hearing, and testimony having been received by the Court
indicating that the Plaintiff may have relapsed with respect to
a certain drug problem, it ie ordered and directed, pending
