Amsley, Sr. and Catherine B. Amsley, upon demand, 2 years from the date of the execution of this note, without interest. Should this amount not be paid within 2 years, then interest will accrue on any unpaid balance at the rate of I () 7C> thereafter until payment in full is made. . To secure payment of this note, I hereby irrevocably authorize the prothonotary, clerk of court or any attorney of any court of record to appear for me in such court, at any time before or after maturity and confess a judgment against me in favor of any holder of this note with release of errors, without stay or setting aside of execution, and for such amount as may appear to be unpaid, together with charges, attorney's fees and costs. I waive and release all benefit and relief from any and all appraisement, stay or exemption laws of any state, now in force or hereafter to be passed. The undersigned, specifically authorizes the entry of judgment against him and waives any rights that he may have preventing the entry of judgment or requiring that notice first be given to him, intentionally, understandingly and voluntarily doing so. AFFIDAVIT I, Robert W. Amsley, being duly sworn according to law, deposes and says that he has obtained a loan from John J. Amsley, Sr. and Catherine B. Amsley in the amount of $50,000, and has executed a promissory note with a confession of judgment therein contained, as security for this loan. He further avers that he is a natural person and that he has a total annual income in excess of $10,000; that he has full knowledge of the fact that this promissory note is to be entered of record in the Office of the Prothonotary of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, and that he is doing this intentionally for the purpose of giving to them a lien on his real estate; and that he understands the legal effect of signing the aforesaid promissory note and hereby voluntarily waives all the rights which are preserved to persons under the Pennsylvania law as to recording the promissory note, or the issuance of execution thereon in the event of default under the terms and conditions of the loan made to him.
