Lee Roland, day of January ,n 20QO individually, of 337 West Meadow Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 hereinafter referred to as Contractor, AND James R. ffarlacher and Darla K. Harlacher, husband and wife, of 714 Allen Road, Carlisle, PA 17013 Owner, whereby the former undertook and agreed to erect and construct a , hereinafter referred to as residential dwelling on that certain lot of ground situ(lte in " Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County, being Lot 36 of Section' 2, Phase 3 of Meadowview Estates as recorded in Plan Book 72, Page 52 and having an address of 315 Candlelight Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 and a tax parcel number of 42-28-2417-144. BEING the same premises which Cindy L. Arnold and Mark A. Knaub, a general partnership, by their deed dated December 27, 1999 granted and conveyed to James R. Harlacher and Darla K. Harlacher. NOW TlfEREFORij:, THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: That the said Contractor, for and in consideration of the sum of($l.00) Dollar to his in hand paid by Owner, the receipt whereofis hereby acknowledged, and the further consideration mentioned in the agreement aforesaid. for themselves and their subcontractors, and all parties acting through or under them. covenant and agree that no mechanic's liens or claims shall be filed or maintained by them or any of them against the said buildings and the lot of ground appurtenant thereto for or on account of any work done or materials furnished by them or any of them under said contract or otherwise, for, towards, in, or about the erection and construction 'of the said buildings on the lot above described, and the said Contractor, for themselves, their subcontractors and others under them hereby expressly waive and relinquish the right to have, file. and maintain any mechanic's liens or claims against the said buildings or any of them, and agree that this instrument, waiving the right of lien, shall be an independent covenant.
