1. Payment Terms. For value received, the undersigned Maker, MINTA E. LLOYD,
promises to pay to the order of the Payee, UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST HOMES, INC.
T/A SARAH A. TODD MEMORIAL HOME, its successors and assigns, at 1000 West South
Street, Carlisle, PA 17013, the principal sum of Seventeen Thousand Forty-Eight Dollars and
09/100 ($17,048.09) Dollars ON DEMAND after the date of this Note, together with interest at
the Tate of one and a quarter (1.25%) percent per month.
2. NonDavment. If Maker fails to make payment of any part or installment of principal
or interest when due, 'the whole sum of the principal. then unpaid, together with accrued interest,
shallbecome-immediatelydue and payable at the option of the holder ofthis Note, without
notice. All such amounts shall also mature and become immediately due and payable without
demand or notice, which are hereby waived, if for any other reasonable cause, Payee has a good
faith beliefthat prospect of payment is impaired.
3. Collection Costs. Maker agrees to pay all actual expenditures incurred by Payee in
any attempt to collect any amount due under this Note, including all costs oflegal action and
reasonable attorneys' fees.
4. Waiver of Presentment. Notice of Dishonor and Protest. The Maker and all
sureties, guarantors and endorsers severally waive demand and presentment for payment, notice
of dishonor, notice of protest and protest of this Note.
5. Modifications. No waiver or modification of the terms of this Note shall be valid
unless in writing, signed by Maker and Payee. Any modification shall be valid only to the extent
set forth in writing,._

6, Warrant of Attornev Confessin!! Jud!!ment. The Maker of this Note authorizes any
attorney at law to appear before the prothonotary of any court of record of the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania or in any state in the United States at any time after this Note is executed, and to
waive the issuing and service of process and confess a judgment in favor of the legal holder

against any Makers and endorser, for the full amount of principal due on this Note, interest then
appearing due, together with costs of suit, and to release all errors and waive all right of appeal.
7. Governinf!: Law. This Note shall be construed under the laws of the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania, including the Uniform Commercial Code, as enacted and in force in the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
