COMPLAINT
AND NOW, comes the Plaintiff, Members 1 st Federal Credit Union, by and
through their attorney, Robert B. MacIntyre, and avers the following;
1. Plaintiff is Members 1st Federal Credit Union, a duly licensed and registered
credit union which maintains its business headquarters at 5000 Louise Drive,
Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
2, Defendant is Gabriel P. Bowers, an adult individual who resides at Walmar
Manor #49, Dillsburg, York County, Pennsylvania, 17019.
3. On or about February 17, 1996, defendant obtained a loan of$11,406.36 at
interest of 10.25% annual percentage rate for 48 months from Plaintiff for the
purpose of refinancing an existing loan with Ford Motor Credit. See attached
Exhibit "A".
4. Defendant offered a 1992 Ford Truck, VIN 1FTEX15N5NKA99745, as
collateral and a lien was entered on the title. See attached Exhibit "B".
5. Defendant defaulted in his payment of the loan and the vehicle was
repossessed.
6. After proper notice to Defendant, the vehicle was sold at auction and a
deficiency balance existed.

7. The amount of the deficiency balance is $2,137.04.
8. Pursuant to the terms of the Note (Exhibit A), Defendant is liable for
collection costs and attorneys' fees of up to 20% of the principal and interest.
9. Twenty percent (20%) of the outstanding principal and interest in the instant
case is $427.41.
10. It is anticipated that legal fees in this case will be in excess of$500.00.
II. Despite repeated demands, the Defendant refuses to pay the debt.
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff demands judgment against Defendant in the amount of
$2,564.45 together with costs and interest at 10.25% from November 9,1999, the date of
the filing of this action before District Justice Elder.

PRAECIPE FOR ENTRY OF JUDGMENT OF DEFAULT
TO THE PROTHONOTARY:
Please enter a judgment by default in favor of plaintiff,
Members 1st Federal Credit Union, and against defendant, Gabriel
P. Bowers, for his failure to plead to the complaint in this
action within the required time. The complaint contains a notice
to defend within twenty days from the date of service thereof.
Defendant was served by the United States Postal Service First
Class, Certified Mail with green card being signed on March 26,
2001 with the answer being due to be filed on April 16, 2001.
Attached as Exhibit "A" is a copy of plaintiff's written
Notice of Intention to File Praecipe for Entry of Default
Judgment which was mailed by United States Postal Service first
class, certified mail with green card being signed on April 20,
2001 which is at least ten days prior to the filing of this
Praecipe. Attached as Exhibit "B" is the signed green card.
