AND NOW, comes Appellant, Anthony M. Jones by and through his
attorney Gregory Barton Abeln, Esquire who files the following petition:
1. Anthony M. Jones is an adult individual with a permenment address at 17
Burd Street, Mechanicsburg, P A 17055.
2. Appellant is currently incarcerated in the Cumberland County Prison,
Clairmont Road, Carlisle, P A 17013 on unrelated charges.
3. On December 24, 1999, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation sent
to the Appellant a notice oflicense suspension, a copy of which is attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference as exhibit A.
4. Appellant has a valid Pennsylvania operators license in his possession.
5. Appellant believes that he will prevail in this appeal because he was not
officially suspended by the Department at the time of this suspension notice.
WHEREFORE, Appellant request this Honorable Court to set a time for a
hearing on the priority of Appellant's license suspension and immediately stayed
the imposition of his license suspension pending the result of said hearing.
