consideration of the foregoing Petition for Approval of Minor Plaintiff's Compromise Settlement
and Distribution of Proceeds, it is hereby Ordered and Decreed in accordance with the provision of
PaRC.P. 2206 that the Petition is GRANTED.
Payment of fees and expenses as listed in the Petition is approved and payment of Forty-
Four Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-Five and 00/100 Dollars ($44,225.00) to Minor Plaintiff
Scott Fehr is directed to be made and deposited in a Bank, a depository which is insured by the
Federal Government, and no withdrawal will be made from sl.lch account until the Minor Plaintiff
attains majority, except as authorized by Order of Court.

PETITION FOR APPROVAL OF MINOR PLAINTIFF'S
COMPROMISE SETILEMENT AND DISTRIBUTION OF PROCEEDS
The Petition of Scott Fehr, by his parent and natural guardian, Lydia R. Fehr, respectful1y
represents:
1. Scott Fehr, the minor Plaintiff, is the son of Lydia R. Fehr, Petitioner, herein. Scott
Fehr is 13 years old having been born on April 10, 1986.
2. On April 2, 1999, Scott Fehr, sustained multiple abrasions, contusions, and
lacerations from a motor vehicle accident. Shortly after the motor vehicle accident, minor Plaintiff
began developing an emotional reaction to the motor vehicle accident.
3. Minor Plaintiff was a passenger in a vehicle being driven by his father, Bruce Fehr.
4. A copy of the Police Accident Report is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
S. Minor Plaintiff was flown to the Lehigh Val1ey Hospital where he underwent
treatment for his injuries.

6. Minor Plaintiff received follow-up counseling from Michael P. Cline, L.S.W. of
Tressler Lutheran Services. A copy ofMr, Cline's September 16, 1999 report is attached hereto as
Exhibit B.
7. Defendant Fehr was covered by an insurance policy with Nationwide Insurance.
8. The Defendant driver and his insurer have agreed to pay and to compromise all
claims arising from the injuries to Scott Fehr for the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00),
subject to the approval of Your Honorable Court.
9. Defendant's insurer disputes minor Plaintiffs entitlement to an emotional distress
claim as minor Plaintiff s claim is associated with the conduct of the Defendant.
10. Petitioner wishes to accept the settlement and believes the settlement offer is fair and
reasonable and in tlhe best interest of the minor Plaintiff.
11. Should the Court deem it necessary to schedule a hearing to approve the settlement,
and if a hearing is scheduled, Minor Plaintiff, his mother, and Petitioner's counsel will be present at
the hearing.
12. Your Petitioner has retained the law firm of Angino & Rovner, P.C. to prosecute this
action and has entered into a contingency fee agreement with said attorney whereby said attorney is
to receive, for professional services, 30% of any amount recovered after filing suit, plus
reimbursement of expenses. However, Plaintiffs' counsel has agreed to reduce his fee to
approximately 10% or Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00).

13. To date, Plaintiffs' counsel has incurred expenses totaling Seven Hundred Ninety-
Three and 99/1 00 Dollars ($793.99) in pursuit of Scott Fehr's claim.

Hundred Twenty-Five and 00/100 Dollars ($44,225.00), is to be held in trust for Scott Fehr in an
account which is insured by the Federal Government and that no withdrawal be made therefrom
until Scott attains majority or authorized by Court Order.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner respectfully requests your Honorable Court to approve the
minor's compromise settlement and authorize the payment of attorney's fees from the fund due the
minor and direct payment due to the minor to be deposited in a bank in trust for Scott Fehr.

Dear Mr. Cline:
It was a pleasure meeting with you on September 8, 1999. During our meeting, you indicated that you
had seen Scott for four sessions prior to May 13, 1999 and for three sessions after July 21, 1999. Please
provide me with copies of your records and bills for these sessions.
During our meeting, you indicated that Scott's diagnosis with you is adjuster disorder with mixed anxiety
and depressed mood. You are currently seeing Scott one time every two weeks. You anticipate seeing Scott
for at least six to eight months before there is any significant breakthrough in Scott's condition. Unfortunately,
Scott has not yet fully opened up with you to discuss the circumstances of the motor vehicle accident, what he
witnessed regarding his father's fatal injury and how it affects him. You stressed the importance of Scott
needing to address these issues to prevent any long time emotional effect on Scott. You indicated the accident
and death of his father are very difficult on Scott because of the close relationship he had with his father and
the fact that Mr. Fehr was very active in his children's lives. The longer it takes Scott to address these issues,
the more difficult it will be for him in the future.
If I have accurately discussed the substance of our meeting, your diagnosis, and future treatment
concerns, please sign this letter where indicated on the bottom and return it to me in the enciosed envelope.
