1. Plaintiff, FIRST UNION NATIONAL BANK AS TRUSTEE FOR
PENNSYLVANIA HOUSING FINANCE AGENCY, pursuant to a Trust
indenture dated as of April 1, 1982 ("Trustee"), is a National
Association with a servicing agent of Pennsylvania Housing Fiance
agency, with an address of 2101 North Front Street, Harrisburg,
Pennsylvania 17105.
2. Defendant, TEDDY L. CAUFMAN, SR., is an adult individual
whose last known address is 123 EAST NORTH STREET, CARLISLE,
PENNSYLVANIA 17013. Defendant, DEE DEE CAUFMAN, is an adult
individual whose last known addres~ is 123 EAST NORTH STREET,
CARLISLE, PENNSYLVANIA 17013.
3. On or about April 30, 1997 Defendants executed and

delivered a Promissory Note ("Note") in favor of EASTERN MORTGAGE
SERVICES, INC. ("Original Mortgagee") in the principal amount of

4. Contemporaneously with and at the time of the execution
of the aforesaid Mortgage Note, in order to secure payment of the
same, DefendantS made, executed, and delivered to original

Mortgagee, a certain real estate Mortgage which is recorded in

the Recorder of Deeds Office of the within County and
Commonwealth in Mortgage Book 1379, Page 1131 conveying to
original Mortgagee the subject premises. The Mortgage was
subsequently assigned to MELLON BANK, N.A. and recorded in the
aforesaid County in Mortgage Book 546, Page 1104 on May 6, 1997.
The Mortgage was subsequently assigned to PENNSYLVANIA HOUSING
FINANCE AGENCY and recorded in the aforesaid County in Mortgage
Book 623, Page 481. The Mortgage was subsequently assigned to
FIRST UNION NATIONAL BANK AS TRUSTEE FOR PENNSYLVANIA HOUSING
FINANCE AGENCY and will be sent for recording. Said Mortgage
and Assignments are incorporated herein by reference.
5. The land subject to the Mortgage is: 408 NORTH PITT
STREET, CARLISLE, PENNSYLVANIA 170~3, and is more particularly
described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto.
6. The said Defendants are the real owners of the land
subject to the Mortgage.
7. The Mortgage is in default due to the fact that
