Claimant, McCoy Brothers, Inc. ("McCoy Brothers"), through its counsel Rhoads &
Sinon LLP, files this claim against the improvements and property at Empire Global Cuisine,
149 North Hanover Street, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013, for payment of a debt due to McCoy
Brothers as a contractor for labor and materials furnished by McCoy Brothers in the alternation
and repair of the restaurant located thereon. In support of the claim, McCoy Brothers makes the
following statement:
1. The record owner of the property is Cup of Joe ("Owner"), which has a principal
place of business at 109 North Hanover Street, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013.

2. The improvements and the property which are the subject to this claim are the
renovations to the Empire Global Cuisine Restaurant located at 149 North Hanover Street,
Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013.
3. The labor and materials for which this debt is due were furnished pursuant to a
written contract with Cup of Joe dated May 1, 1998, a copy of which is attached hereto as
Exhibit "A."
4. The labor and materials for which this debt is due were for the renovations to the
dining and kitchen areas of the restaurant and for renovating the front of the building, all in
compliance with the contract attached hereto as Exhibit "A."
5. McCoy Brothers last worked at the property on April 6, 2000, which is less than
four (4) months before the filing ofthis claim.

6. McCoy Brothers has been paid $193,995 toward the debt due it for the stated
labor and materials, and there is a due and owing balance of $20,171 for which claim is being
made of$20,171.

Demolition of exisling plumbing fixtures at both locations, disconnection of gas
equipment, cap waleI'. drain. gas lines as needed. removal or commercial hot waler
heater and grease trap 10 new location.
Demolilion of Concrete for rough in of underground plumbing and gas piping in the
kitchen area. ( This includes demo of concrete and removal from site. replace dirt in the
trenching as naeded.)
Disconnection of existing hot water healer that is at BC now and replace with
commercial hea1er that is a\ the other location. ( flue piping \0 vent into the existing
chimney.)
Rough in for new sinks as per plans, PVC drain. waste and vent piping
3 new Zum Z415 Floor drains in the kilchen area
L copper for water lines with leadfree solder

New venting through the roof in the kitchen area.
Reuse the exisling grease trap brought from the other location.
