Dear Ms. Strasbaugh,
I am returning the enclosed envelope. I am terribly sorry for having opened this
document. The mailman delivered it late in the afternoon.. . it was dark and extremely
cold outside and I assumed that the letter was for me. I signed for it without taking a
closer look.
My husband left two years ago - since then, he has been receiving all mail at his work
address: Project Hope, 255 Carter Hall Lane, Millwood, Va. 22646.
My husband and I are in the middle of divorce proceedings. I would forward this
document to him, but, since I usually don't know where he is (often in Iraq) I did not
want to take the responsibility.
Once again - please forgive me for opening this letter. I am extremely embarrassed. I
thought this was a letter from my husband's lawyer to me and didn't realize my mistake
until I had already opened it.
