BY THE ESTATE OF MARY BEllE WEAVER, PURSUANT TO
THE PENNSYLVANIA PROBATE ESTATES AND
BDUCIARIES CODE. SPECIFICALLY 20 PAr C.S. ~3.323
1, Mary Belle Weaver, late of the Borough of Carlisle, died on January 31, 1994.
2. On February 11, 1994 the Register of Wills of Cumberland County, Mary C. Lewis, '
granted Letters of Administration for her estate to her two sons, Joseph A. Lombardo and Barry
P. Lombardo, Petitioners herein.
3. In 1992 William Weaver became ill, and required hospitalization and surgery. On the
19th of April, 1993, he executed Power of Attorney to his wife, Mary Belle Weaver, Apparently in
an effort to prevent all of the parties' joint assets from being consumed by nursing home costs,
Mary Belle Woaver made withdrawals from accounts held jointly with her husband without his
specific knowledge or consent.
4. Specifically, the following transfers were made from assets in the joint names of
William S. Weaver and Mary Belle Weaver or assets in the name of William S. Weaver alone:
A. Mary Belle Weaver transferred the sum of $10,000 inio a Certificate of
Deposit at York Federal Savings and Loan held jointly in the names of Mary Belle
Weaver and Joseph A. Lombardo, her son.
