A. Guckelberger's father, Richard G. Guckelberger, is deceased
(August, 1987).
4. Cheryl K. Guckelberger has suffered from a debilitating
form of multiple scleroeis (MS) since 1985. Widowed since 1987,
and due to frequent lengthy hospitalizations and subsequent
physical and emotional deterioration due to MS, she has been
unable to care for her son and maintain her home without the
assistance of in-home health care providers.
5. George E. and Anita J. Peterson resided in Cheryl
Guckelberger's residence from April 1992 until January 1994,
during which time they were the primary caregivers to her son,
Jeffrey A. Guckelberger.
6. In February, 1994, Cheryl K. Guckelberger was admitted
to the Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle,
cumberland county, pennsylvania, because of her need for 24-hour
nursing care. At that time, Cheryl K. Guckelberger requested
that George E. and Anita J. Peterson become guardians to her son,
Jeffrey A. Guckelberger.
7. since January 1994, J'effrey A. Guckelberger has resided
with George E. and Anita J. Peterson at 317 seventh street, New
cumberland, cumberland County, pennsylvania.
8. The proposed guardians are George E. Peterson and Anita
J. Peterson, husband and wife, who reside together at 317 Seventh
street, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. George E. and Anita J.
Peterson are both 49 years of age.

9. No other guardian has been appointed for the person of
the minor. A guardian of the person of the minor must be
appointed so that the minor can attend school in the West Shore
School District.
10. George E. Peterson is an Inspector in the GSA Division,
Defense Distribution Region East, New Cumber.land, Pennsylvania.
Anita J. Peterson is a housewife.
11. The acceptances of the proposed guardians are attached
hereto as Exhibit A.
12. The proposed guardians have no interest adverse to the
minor.
13. Cheryl K. Guckelberger is affiliated with the united
Methodist Church.
14. George E. and Anita J. Peterson are affiliated with the
united Methodist Church.
15. No insurance or other gratuity is payable to the minor
by the U. S. Veterans' Administration or its successor.
16. Jeffrey A. Guckelberger's mother, Cheryl K. Guckel-
berger, has consented to the appointment of George E. and Anita
J. Peterson as the co-guardians of her. son, Jeffrey A. Guckel-
berger. The consent of Cheryl K. Guckelberger, mother of the
minor, is attached hereto as Exhibit B.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner respectfully requests that this Court
