ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or parcel of ground situate in the Borough
of Hummelstown, County of Dauphin and Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, more particularly bounded and described as follows,
to wit:
BEGINNING at a point on the Northern right-of-way line of West
Second Street; thence along same, South eighty-two (82) degrees
twenty-eight (28) minutes West, twenty-three and zero hundredths
(23.00) feet to a point; thence along other lands now or formerly
of Carolyn L. Kerlin, of which this was formerly a part, and
along the centerlin~ of a partition wall separating the eastern
and western portions of a certain two-story frame dwelling, North
seven (07) d~grees, thirty-two (32) minutes West, one hundred ten
and zero hundredths (110.00) f~et to a point on the South side of
Clover Alley; thence along same, North eighty-two (82) degrees
twenty-eight (28) minutes East, twenty-three and zero hundredths
(23.00) feet to a point on line of lands of lands now or formerly
of Glenn Hoffer and Marlin Pickel; thence along same South seven
(07) degrees thirty-two (32) minutes East, one hundred ten and
zero hundredths (110.00) feet to a point, the place of BEGINNING.
HAVING THEREON ERECTED the eastern portion of a two-story frame
dwelling known and numbered as 246 West Second Street,
Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.
BEING the eastern portion of a two-story frame dwelling as set
forth on a Subdivision Plan of Rodney D. Kerlin and Carolyn L.
Kerlin, his wife, prepared by Robert G. Sherrick,' Registered
Surveyor, dated May 7, 1983, as revised June 4, 1983 and recorded
June 23, 1983 in Dauphin County Plan Book S, Volume 3, page 10.
BEING the same premises which Carolyn L. Kerlin by deed dated May
26, 1987 and recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds in
and for Dauphin County in Record Book 943, Page 154, granted and
conveyed unto Joseph A. Moyer and Karen L. Moyer, his wife and
Adolph A. Moyer, as joint tenants with the right of surVivorship.
This conveyance is a conveyance from husband a~d wife to husband
as part of a divorce settlement agreement and therefore exempt
from Pennsylv~nia transfer taxes.
