I, ELLEN S. KURTZ, of West Pennsboro Township, Cumber-
land County, Pennsylvania, declare this instrument to be my last
will and testament, hereby expressly revoking all wills and
codicils heretofore made by me.
1. I direct my executor to pay all of my debts, funeral
and administrative expenses as soon as may be done conveniently
after my decease.
2. I authorize and empower my executor to sell any
realty owned by me at my death and not specifically devised
herein, at either public or private sale, and to give good
and sufficient deeds therefor, in fee simple, as I could do if
living,'
3. I direct that my executor shall have the following items
of jewelry appraised: my ring with two diamonds and an emerald
in a gold setting; my platinum ring with t.wo diamondsj my
diamond bar pin; my grandmother's necklace with watch, pin and
two chains; my gold bracelet with semi-precious stones; my
Mexican silver set consisting of a belt, bracelet, ring, pin and
earringsj and my cameo pin and cameo bracelet. The same shall
be offered to my two children at the appraised va'lue. Any items
not purchased by my two children are to be offered to my niece,
MARY LOUISE BENNETT, and any remaining items are to be su1d and
the proceeds from the sale of all the said jewelry I give and
bequeath to the AMERICAN RED CROSS. I give all my other articles
of personal or household use, including my automobile, together
with all insurance relating thereto, to my husband, ABRAM G.
KURTZ, if he survives me by thirty (30) days. If he does not so
. ,
survive me, I, give all such property and insurance to such of my
sons as survive me, to be divided between them as they may agree
or, in. the absence of agreement, as my executor may think
appro~riate.
I intend to leave a memorandum setting forth suggestions as
to the distribution of certain items and, while the memorandum is
not to be legally binding, I hope the suggestions in it will be
carried out.
4. I give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and
remainder of my estate of every nature and wherever situate,
to my two sons, Peter Knox Johnson and Donald M. Johnson, Jr.,
share and share alike, the child or children of any deceased
child taking the share their parent would have taken if living.
5. I nominate and appoint Farmers Trust Company of
Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, to be the executor of
thi s my 1 ast will and testament i it is to serve as such without
bond.
6. I hereby suggest that my persondl representative retain
the services of Irwin, Irwin & McKnight as attorneys in the
settlement of my estate.

I, ELLEN S. KURTZ, of West Pennsboro Township, Cumber-
land County, Pennsylvania, declare this instrument to be my last
will and testament, herf!hy expressly revoking all wills and
codicils heretofore made by me,
1. I direct my executor to pay all of my debts, funeral
and administrative expenses as soon as may be done conveniently
after my decease.
2. I authorize and empower my executor to sell any
realty owned by me at my death and not specifically devised
herein, at either public or private sale, and to give good
and sufficient deeds therefor, in fee simple, as I could do if
living,
3. I direct that my executor shall have the following items
of jewelry appraised: my ring with two diamonds and an emerald
in a gold setting; my platinum ring with t.wo diamonds; my
diamond bar pin; my grandmother's necklace with watch, pin and
two chains; my gold bracelet with semi-precious stones; my
Mexican silver set consisting of a belt, bracelet, ring, pin and
earrings; and my cameo pin and cameo bracelet. The sarno shall
be offered to my two children at the appraised value. Any items
not purchased by my two children are to be offered to my niece,
MARY LOUISE BENNETT, and any remaining items are to be sold and
the proceeds from t.he sale of all the said jewelry 1 give and
bequeath to the AMERICAN REO CROSS. I give all my other articles
of personal or household use, including my automobile, together
with all insurance relating thereto, to my husband, ABRAM G.
KURTZ, if he survives me by thirty (30) days. If he does not so

. survive me, 1 give all such property and insurance to such of my
sonses survive me, ,to be divided between them as they may agrtle
or, in the absence of agreement, as my executor may think
appropriate,
I intend to leave a memorandum setting forth suggestions as
to the distribution of certain items and, while the memorandum is
not to be legally binding, I hope the suggestions in it will be
carried out.
4. I give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and
remainder of my estate of every nature and wherever situate,
to my two sons, Pet.er Knox Johnson and Dona 1 d H. Johnson, Jr.,
share and share alike, t.he child or children of any deceased
child taking the share their parent would have t.aken if living.
S. I nominate and appoint Farmers Trust Company of
Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, to be the executor of
this my last will and testament; it is to serve as such without
bond.
6. I hereby suggest that my personal representative retain
the services of Irwin, Irwin & McKnight as attorneys in the
settlement of my estate.
