Settlement and Proposed Distribution
TO THE HONORABLE, THE JUDGES OF SAID COURT:
1. Your petitioners, Helga Hood and Anne M. Cox, Adminstratrix of the
Estate of Gunnar Hood, with a mailing address of 27 W. High St., Carlisle,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania,
2. Gunnar Hood was a single adult male who was divorced and the rights
to his only child had been terminated and said child was adopted by another
individual. A copy of evidence of the same is attached hereto,
3. Your petitioner, Anne M, Cox, is the Administratrix of the Estate of
Gunnar Hood, having been so appointed by the Register of Wills of
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, on November 7,1996.
4. Your petitioner, Helga Hood, is the natural mother of Gunnar Hood,
deceased.
5. Gunnar Hood was killed in a two vehicle accident which occurred on
the Walnut Bottom Rd., Shipp0.nsburg Township, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania.
6. The vehicle that struck and killed Gunnar Hood was owned by Jess
Jones d/b/a J&J Carbide and insured by State Farm Insurance Company.
7. State Farm has agreed to pay the policy limit of $300,000.00 to the parent
petitioner in this matter.

8. Helga Hood, has agreed upon a contingent fee of 33-1/3'70 of any
recovery in this ma tter,
9. Your petitioners, Helga Hood and Anne M. Cox, request that the
following distribution be made to Helga Hood for the Wrongful Death of her
son;

$100,000.00
WHEREFORE, it is prayed that the aforesaid partial settlement of $300,000.00,
and the proposed distribution, be approved.
