The plaintiff, Aleta Vlllerie Minium, is an adult individual residing at I Iq North Enoln Drive, 3rd flnor, EnoJa, Cumberland County, Pennsylvanill 17025. 2, The defcndanl, Brian Loren Coil ins, (SSN: 189-60- 6008)(Date of Birth: 5/24/72), is IIn adult individual residing at 19 Shady Lane, Enola, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, 17025. J. The defendant is the falher of the plaintiff's chi Id, 4. Since approximately tQ93, the defendant has attempted to cause and has intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly caused bodily injury to the plllintiff, has placed the plaintiff in reasonable fellr of imminent serious bodi Iy injury, and has knowingly engaged in a course of conduct or repeatedly committed acts toward the pIa ill t i 1'1' which hnve plllced the plaintiff in reasonllble fell I' of hod i Iy injury. This has included, but is not I im it ed to, tbe follnwing specific instances of abuse: /I, On or ahout Apri I 7, 19Q7, the defendnnl forcefully kicked the plnintiff in the hip cnusing bruising. He then pushed her against the bed and twisted her arms cllusing pain. Later, the defendunt became angry and forcefully dug his fingers into the plaintiff's thigh causing bruising und bit the plaintiff in the neck causing teeth murks, Later that night, the defendunt became angry, repeatedly slummed the chair the plaintiff was sitting in aguinst the wall, und grabbed the plaintiff's wrist causing fingernail marks. When the parties' chi Id came into the room, the pluintiff told her to go downstuirs to Ihe neighbor's upurtment to cull the pol ice, Only when the neighhor informed the defendunt that she had called the pol ice, did the defendant leuve the premises. b. On or about .Iunullry 29, 1997, the defendant straddled the plaintiff, punched her in the head repeatedly, and forcefully kicked her in the hip. When the plaintiff tried to get up, the defendant punched her again. The defendant pulled and squeezed the plaintiff's hreast and when she told him not to hit her in front of thei I' chi Id, he slapped her in the mouth, When the pluintiff attempted to get uway, the defendant got on top of her, forcefully put his forearm Ilgainst her neck making it llifficult for her to hreuthe and euusing her to feuI' for her sufety. When the plaintiff 2 told the defendllnt to leave, he carried her into the bedroom, IlIid her on the bed IInd restrllined her with his arms, As II result of Ihis incident, the plaint i ff incurred bruises on her helld, breast, shoulder IInd hip, c. In or ahout October, I'JIJ6, the defendllnt forcefully pinned the plllintiff agllinst II door IInd clllled her nllmes, Ill' then grnbbed her by the shi rt, ripping it, The defendllnt became IIngry IInd punched the plllintiff repeatedly in the head, The defendllnt then pushed the plaintiff into the bedroom where he twisted nnd pulled her brellsts, ground his knuckles into her crotch, and forced the plllintiff to hllve sex. As II result, the plllintiff W/lS left with bruises on her hend, II spl it I iI', nnd sorenesS nhout her body. d. Sillce approximatcly 1993, the defendllnt hns broken the plainliff's nose by head-butting her in the face, broke three rihs hy punching her, and fractured her shoulder hlade hy tackl ing her dOWII concrete steps.
