of like effect against the Petitioner, and it appearing that there
is no legal objection to the granting of the prayer of the
Petition, IT IS ORDERED AND DECREED that the name of the Petitioner

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Petition of TONY LEE BONAWITZ,
a minor, by and through his mother and natural legal guardian,
KAREN D. HILEMAN, has been filed in the Court of Common Pleas of
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, praying for Decree to change his
name to TONY LEE HILEMAN. The Court has fi>:ed April 2, 1997, at
9:00 a.m. in Court Room No.4, Fourth Floor, of the Cumberland
County Courthouse, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, as the time and place
for the hearing on said peti tion, when and ~Ihere all persons
entrusted may appear and show cause, if any lhey have, why the
prayer of the said Petition should not be granted.

of Tony Lee Bonawitz, a minor, desires to change the last name of
the child to that of her surname name, Hileman.
6. Petitioner Karen D. Hileman, mother and natural guardian
of Tony Lee Bonawitz, a minor, desires to change the last name of
the child to that of Hileman because:
A. the natural father of the child, Barry W. Bonawitz,
has not seen the child for a period of two years;
B. the child resides with three half-siblings who
possess the surname of Hileman;
C. the child is now enrolled in Mt. Zion Elementary
with his half-siblings and Petitioner wants to avoid confusion for
the child; and
D. the child has a established very close relationship
with his half-siblings and step-father who possess the surname of
Hileman.
7. Petitioner Karen D. Hileman has discussed this petition
with the natural father of the child, Barry W. Bonawitz, and
believes that he will not object to the change in surname.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner, Karen D. Hileman mother and natural
guardian of Tony Lee Bonawitz, a minor, requests this Honorable
Court, pursuant to the Act of December 16, 1982, P.L. 1309, No.
295, Sec. 2, 54 Pa.Cons.Stat. Sec. 702, 2:
A. Set aside a time and place for a hearing on this
Petition;
