STIPULATION AGAINST LIENS
THIS AGREEMENT made the 18th day 1!t'Fehrllary, 1997 by and between
Gross Construction and HB, McC/lIre, Inc.
hereinafter referred 10 as Contraclors,
AND
Marie J. Miller
hereinafter referred to as Owner, whereby the fOrlner undertook and agreed 10 erect and construct
a housing rehabilitation project in MecJu(/IicsburK, CII(/Iherland Coullly
NOW THEREFORE, THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: That the said Contractor, for and in
consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) to and in hand paid by Owner, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, :md Ihe further cO:Jsideration mcnt;oneu inlhc Agreement
aforesaid, for themselves and Iheir subcontractors, and all parties acting Ihrough or under Ihem,
covenanl and agree that no mechanic's liens or claims shall be filed or maintained by them or any
of them againslthe said buildings and the 101 of ground appurtenantlherelo for or on accounl of
any work done or malerials furnished by Ihern or any of them under said conlracl or olherwise,
for, towards, in, or aboullhe erection and conslruction of the said buildings on Ihe lot above
described and the said Contraclor, for themselves, their subconlraclors and others under them
hereby expressly waive and relinquish the right to have, file, and maintain any mechanic's liens
or claims against the said buildings or any of them, and agree that Ihis instrument, waiving the
righl of lien, shall be an ind~pendcnt covenant. r,
