COMPLAINT
AND NOW comes the above named Plaintiff, by its attorney Samuel L. Andes, and makes the
following Complaint in this matter:
I. The Plaintiff is Waveline Direct, Inc., a Pennsylvania business Corporation which maintains its
principal offices at 192 Hempt Road, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
2. The Defendants are Michael Sparrow and Marlene Sparrow, his wife, adult individuals who trade
and do business as HIS Communications, at 19 South Hanover Street, Carlisle, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania and who reside at 107 Pearl Drive, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
3. The Plaintiff is in the printing business and has been engaged in such business at all times relevant
to this action.
4, At various time during the months of December of 1996 and January and February of 1997, the
I Defendant ordered various printing materials and services from the Plaintiff. The orders were placed by
,I Defendant at Plaintiffs place of business in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.

.i 5. At the time Defendant ordered the printing materials and services from Plaintiff, Defendant

I agreed to pay Plaintiff its reasonable and customary charges for such materials and services.
6. In response to Plaintiffs request and orders, and in reliance upon Defendant's's promise to pay

II Plaintiff for the materials and services, Plaintiff provided to Defendant the printing materials and services
I described in Plaintiffs invoices which are attached hereto and marked as Exhibit A.

7. Plaintiff well and truly performed its obligations to Defendant under the oral agreement between
Plaintiff and Defendant.

8. Defendant has failed or refused to pay Plaintiff for all the printing materials and services provided
to Defendant by Plaintiff. Specifically, Defendant has failed to pay Plaintiff the sum of$21 ,070.96 for such
services and materials.
9. The sums charged by Plaintiff to Defendant for the printing materials described in Exhibit A are
fair and reasonable and are Plaintiff's customary charges for such materials and services and are the prices
which Defendant agreed to pay for such materials and services.
10. Defendant, by its conduct, has injured Plaintiff in the amount of$21,070.96, plus interest from
and after 31 December 1996,
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff demands judgement against Defendant in the amount of$21 ,070.96, plus
interest from and after 31 December 1996, plus cost of suit.
