I t ( ,.- CHASE PARTNERS, INC., Defendant : COMPLAINT FOR CONFESSION OF JUDGMENT NOW COMES Plaintiff, UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, by its attorney., ~eefer, Wood, Allen' Rahal, and files the following Complaint for Confession of Judgment, averring as follows: 1. Plaintiff, UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, is a first class township municipality Qrganized and existing in accordance with the laws of Pennsylvania, having an address of 100 Gettysburg Pike, Mechanicsburg, Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. 2. Defendant, CHASE PARTNERS, INC., is a corporation doing business in Pennsylvania with a primary business address ot Suite 233, 700 River Avenue, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. 3. On February 28, 1997, defendant executed a written Promissory Note in favor of plaintiff, a true and correct copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference. 4. Plaintiff has not assigned the Promissory Note. 5. Judgment has not been entered on the Promissory Note in any jurisdiction. 6. Despite demands by the plaintiff, defendant failed and continues to fail to make the payments under the promissory Note and is in default thereunder. 7. The principal balance that remains unpaid under the Promissory Note ($17,500) is accelerated and immediately due and payable as a result of defendant's default. 8. All interest accrued but unpaid under the Promissory Note is immediately due and payable as a result of defendant's default. 9.
