MUNICIPAL LIEN FOR (CURB) {SIDEWALK) REPAIR~
The Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, hereby files its claim
against Edward E. Wagner and Kathleen L. Wagner and all that certain lot or piece
of ground situated in the Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, being
known as 457 C. Street and having thereon erected a house. (See property
description attached.)
For Curb and sidewalk repairs (or 457 C. Street Street together with an
additional ten percent (10%) and $90.00 solicitor filing fee for a total of $ 918.00,
together with interest sec. le.q. from September 15, 2002, the date of completion
of the work.
Prior notice in accordance with law was served upon the owner by first class United
States certified mail, postage prepaid, at the owner's address at 457 C. Street in
Carlisle, PA 17013 on November 13, 2002. The said services were provided by the
Borough of Carlisle and the charge levied therefor in strict accordance with Article XVIII
of the Borough Code, Act of February 1, 1966, P.L. 1655 (1965), No. 581, Section 1801
et. seq., 53 P.S. Section 46801 et seq., Ordinance 145-C, Article II of Chapter 120,
and/or Article V of Chapter 223 of the Code of the Borough of Carlisle.

BETWEEN EDWARD E. WAGNER of 2488 Falling Springs Road,
Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, hereinafter
referred to as:
Grantor,
and EDWARD E. WAGNER and KATHLEEN L. WAGNER, husband and wife,
of 2488 Falling Springs Road, Chambersburg, Franklin County,
Pennsylvania, hereinafter referred to as:
Grantees,
WITNESSETH, that in consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) in
hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said
Grantor does hereby grant and convey to the said Grantees, their
heirs and assigns, under and subject to the right of Charlotte
M. Wagner to reside in said premises, rent-free, until her death
or until she no longer desires to reside therein:
ALL that certain lot of ground with improvements
thereon erected located on the north side of "C"
Street in the Fifth Ward of the Borough of Carlisle,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, more particularly
bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at the northeast intersection of "C" Street
and Cherry Street, Extended; thence in an easterly

~ to a point at lands now or formerly of William H.

County, Pennsylvania, No. 21-88-354, as the same is
recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds in
and for Cumberland County in Deed Book "R", VolUme
33, page 588.
~2qD the said Grantor hereby covenants and agrees that ho
will warrant specially the property hereby conveyed.
This is a conveyance from husband to husband and wife and
is therefore tax exempt.
