The defendant, Philip Syers, alkIa Phil Syers, is an adult individual who is a student at
college and resides with defendants, Victoria Leslie and Michael Leslie at 2990 Grandview Drive,
York Haven, Pennsylvania 173 70.

Defendants Victoria Leslie and Michael Leslie are adult individuals who reside at 2990
Grandview Drive, York Haven, Pennsylvania. Defendant Victoria Leslie is the natural mother of
defendant Philip Syers and defendant Michael Leslie is the stepfather of the defendant Phil Syers.

On May 17, 1995, at 9:40 a.m. the plaintiff, Ronald Hoon, Jr., and the defendant, Phil
Syers, were attending a gym class at the Boiling Springs High School, Boiling Springs,
Pennsylvania, in which they were enrolled.
6.
The parties were engaged in a game known as "ballleball." Both boys threw balls at one
another.
7.
The parties went toward the middle of the gym and the head of Phil Syers struck the face
of Ron Hoon, Jr., causing the plaintiffs injuries to his face.
8.
The action of defendant, Phil Syers, caused bodily injury to the plaintiff, Ron Hoon, Jr.
The injuries included a broken nose and facial swelling.
