NOW THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: Thallhe Contraelor for and in considerntion of the
eonlraelaforesaid and Ihe eonsideralionmentioned Ihereunder, as well as the further consideration of One ($ 1.(0)
Dollar to him in hand paid by Ihe Owner al or before Ihe scaling and delivery of these presenls. Ihe receipl
whereof is hereby acknowledged, docs hereby covenant, promise, and agree Ihal no mechanics' lien or claim or
olher lien or claim of any kind whalsoever shall he filed or maintained againstlhe said building or buildings or
Ihe curtilage or eurtilages appurteoanllherelo. by Contraclor or by any sub.contraclor. materialmen. or lahorers
for work dooe. or malerials furnished under said contracl or hy any other party aeling through or under Ihem or
any of Ihem for and about said building or buildings or any part Ihereof, or on credit thereof, and Ihatall sub-
conlraclors, materialmen and laborers on said work shall look 10 and hold Conlractor persoaally liable for all sub.
contracts, mlllerials furnished and work and labor done, so thallhere shall nnt he any legal or lawful claim of any
kind whalever againsl Owner for any work done or labor or materials furnished under said eontracl for and aboul
Ihe erection, conslruction. and completion of said buildings as aforesaid, or under IIny contracl for extra work or
for work supplemenlallhereto or olherwise.
AND this agreement waiving the right of lien shall be IIn independenl eovenanlllnd shall opcrale and be
effective as well wilh respect 10 work done aad materillls furnished under IIny supplementlll contracl for exlra work
in the ereclion, construction, IInd complction of the said building or buildings liS any work IInd labor done and
mlllerillls furnished under the conlractllforesaid,
AND. in order to give the Owner full power and lIuthorily 10 protecl himself and the 101 nr 10ls of ground
againslany and 1111 claims filed by the Conlraclor or IInyone aCling under or Ihrough him or iI in violalion of Ihe
foregoing eovenaal, Ihe said Contractor for himself. Ihemselves. ilself, hereby irrevocably aulhorizes and
empowcrs IIny Allomey of any Court of Common Picas of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, 10 appear for
him. them, il or IIny of Ihem, in any of Ihe said Courts of Common Pleas as Allorney for him, Ihem. or iland in
him. their, ils, nllme, mark slllisfied of record atlhe cost and expense of Ihe Conlractor or of any Sub.Conlraclor
or Materialman, or Malerialmen, any and all claims or claim, lien or lien. filed by or for Ihe Contraclor. nr any
Sub.Conlraclor or Malerialman, or in his or Iheir name against said building or buildings, 101 or lols of ground or
