thcmsclvcs and thcir subcontractors. and all partics acting through or undcr thcm. covcnant and
agrcc that no mcchanic's licns or claims shall bc Iilcd or maintaincd by thcm or any ofthcm
againstthc said buildings and thc lot of ground appurtcnantthcrcto lor or on account of any work
donc or matcrials furnishcd by thcm or any of thcm undcr said contract or othcrwisc, for,
towards. in. or aboutthc crcction and construction of thc said buildings on thc lot abovc
dcscribcd and thc said Contractor, for thcmsclvcs, thcir subcontractors and othcrs undcr thcm
hercby cxprcssly waivc and relinquishcs thc right to havc. Iilc. and maintain any mcchanic's liens
or claims againstthc said buildings or any of thcm. and agrec that this instrumcnt. waiving thc
right of lien, shall he an indcpcndcnt eovcnant.
