Morioll F /lock hereinaller referred to as Owner. wherehy the li.lll11er undertook and agreed to
construct sidewalk improvements in the Borough of Carlisle.
NOW, THEREFORE. THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: That the said Contractor. for and
in considcration of the sum of $ I .00 in hand paid by Owner. the reccipt whercof is hcrcby
acknowlcdgcd. and thc furthcr considcration mentioncd in thc Agrccmcntaforcsaid. for
thcmselves and thcir subcontractors. and all partics acting through or under thcm. covcnant and
agree that no mcchanic's liens or claims shall bc filcd or maintaincd by thcm or any ofthcm
against the said buildings and the lot of ground appurtenant thcrcto for or on account of any work
done or materials furnishcd by thcm or any of thcmunder said contract or othcrwise. for.
towards. in. or aboutthc crcction and construction of thc said buildings on thc lot abovc
dcscribed and the said Contractor. for thcmsclvcs. thcir subcontractors and others under them
hcreby cxpressly waive and rclinquishes thc right to havc. filc. and maintain any mcchanic's liens
or claims against thc said buildings or any of them. and agree that this instrument, waiving thc
right oflicn. shall be an independent covenant.
