RE: Sarah Hawkins
Dear Mr. Shearer:
Sarah has been followed in our office for routine healthcare
since 14 months of age. Sarah does have a documented history of
repeated ear infec~~ons and asthmatic bronchitis. She is now
being followed on a weeklv basis for failure to crain waioht flnd
height. After speakinq t. ~er mother, it is my understanding that
Sarah is viSl.tl.ng ner fatne1 In a weekly basis ana "'^..-- ~ ~- - v
household of cigarette smokers. There are published studies o~
showing a cc-elation between exposure to cigarette smoke anu
recurrent ear infections. In my ~~n1on it would be in Sarah's ~
best inteL~_, if she could be i~ ~ smoke-free environment when ,
visiting with her father. We are also closely monitoring her /
dietary intake, and it is of utmost importance that Sarah's
father voluntarily follow the dietary recommendations given by
Sarah's mother.

AND NOW, this 1\ '" day of August, 1997, upon consideration of the
attached Custo~ci1iation Report, it is ordered and directed as
follows:
1. A hearing is scheduled in Court Room No.3 of the Cumberland
County Courthouse on the ~~,J day of rQdl1lU,- , 1997 at
","oa-m. at which time testimony will be taken in the abotle
case.f At this hearing, the Father shall be the moving party
and shall proceed initially with testimony. Counsel for the
parties shall file with the Court and opposing counsel a
memorandum setting forth the history of custody in this case,
the issues currently before the Court, each party's position
on these issues, a list of witnesses who will be called to
testify and a summary of the anticipated testimony of each
witness. This memorandum shall be filed at least ten days
prior to the hearing date.
2. Pending further order of this Court, the following temporary
Custody Order is entered:
A. The F.J4.~r, Ronald E. Shoenberger, and the Mother,
Barbar'1'J{awkins, shall enjoy shared legal custody of
Brandon Edward Hawkins, born September 4, 1989 and Sarah
Elizabeth Hawkins, born January 10, 1992.
B. Mother shall enjoy primary physical custody of the minor
children.
C. Father shall enjoy temporary physical custody of the
minor children on a liberal basis pursuant to the
schedule the parties have worked out between themselves.

CONCILIATION CONFERENCE SUMMARY REPORT
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CUMBERLAND COUNTY CIVIL RULE OF PROCEDURE
1915.3-8(b), the undersigned Custody Conciliator submits the
following report:
1. The pertinent information pertaining to the children who are
the subject of this litigation is as follows:
Brandon Edward Hawkins, born September 4, 1989, and Sarah
Elizabeth Hawkins, born January 10, 1992.
2. A Conciliation Conference was held on August 1, 1997, with the
following individuals in attendance:
The Father, Ronald E. Shoenberger, with his counsel, Thomas S.
Diehl, Esquire, and the Mother, Barbara Hawkins, with her
counsel, Michael A. Scherer, Esquire.
3. There is currently a Custody Order by stipulation which the
parties entered into in July of 1993. The children are in the
custody of the Mother, the Father has been visiting on
alternating weekends and at other times. The Father suggests
that Mother has a very unstable living situation. The Father
is concerned that the Mother has moved numerous times and
Mother has not shown any regular routine in administering
medication such as ridilen to the children. The Father
believes that he could provide a more stable home environment
for the children. The Father wants primary custody. The
Mother is unwilling to agree with Father at this particular
time. A hearing is necessary. A hearing should take no more
than one day.
4. The Conciliator recommends an Order in the form as attached.

AND NOW, this :1,. day of Deccmber, 2002, upon consideration of the attached Custody
Conciliation Report and the agreement of the parties, it is ordered and directed as folIows:
1. The Mother, Barbara Wilson. shalI enjo)' sole legal and ph)'sical custody of
Brandon Hawkins. born September 4. 1989 nnd Sarah Hawkins, born
January 10, 1992.
2. Based upon the representations of the parties made at the custody conciliation
conference, the Father, Ronald E. Shoenberger, will proceed with signing
consents to adopt the two minor children whereby the Mother's current
husband may adopt the children, after which the Mother agrees she will take
the necessal1' steps to cancel and ternlinate the Domestic Relntions Order
currently filed through Fmnklin Count)' Domestic Relations Office.
3. Based upon Mother's stated agreement, in the future and even in the event
Father's rights nre ternlinnted through nn ndoption proceeding, Mother
agrees she will prO\'ide notilicntion of the nddress of the minor children to
Fnther nnd nlIo\\' the Fnther the opportunity to send mail nnd gifts to the
children for the rlost of their Ii\'es. Furthermore. Mother will agree to pemlit
the children to contnct the Fnther if they so desire nnd Mother will not
interfere or discoumge the children from making such contact.
