5. The date of completed of t.he improved was July, 1993
6. The klnd and character of work done for which this claim is
filed is labor and mat.er1al 1n t.he constructlon and installation of
curbing and sidewalk abutting 19 Sharon Road, Enola
in the Township of East Pennsboro, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania,
for the recovery of part of the cost of which th1s claim is made. The
Township of East Pcnnsboro levied, assessed and charged a part of the
cost and expenses of construction upon and against properties
benefitted, improved, and accommodated thereby, 1n accordance with the
aforesald Ordinances of the Township of East pcnnsboro, by assessment
based upon the front foot rule.
All acts, conditions, events and things required to be done under
the ordinances of the Township of East Pennsboro, and Acts of assembly
of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, have been done and performed 1n
due and legal form, to entitle the Township of East Pennsboro to a
lien and for the payment of the assessment for which this claim 1S
hIed.
The sa1d owners or reputed owners were notified to construct the
curbing and sldewalr. 1n front of the aforesa1d property by written
notice to that effect served on t.he said owners, and said owners
neglect to do the work for more than twenty (20) days after the service
of said notice.
The Township of East Pennsboro caused written notice to be served
on the owners or reputed owners, of the intention to file this claim
unless the amount due the Township for the aforesaid work was paid in
full within sixty (60) days of the date of receipt o! said notice, by
service upon the said owners or reputed owners more than sixty (60)
days prior to t.he fil1ng of this cla1m.
The amount of the levy and assessment for which this claim is
filed is $303.75 , W1 th interest thereon at the rate of
six (6\) per cent per annum from July 1, 1993 ,which amount has
been computed as follows: Work and labor done and materials furnished
for the construction and 1nstallatlon of 70
lineal fcet of concrete curbing at$9.00 per Ilneal foot and
construction and installat10n of N/A square feet of
sidewalk at. pcr square foot.
