qfter 1 brought my jather to temporarily stay at the home oj his
daughter-In-law and grandson, Robert, and while staying at
their home, my father changed his bank accounts so that his
money would go to his grandson, Robert, and 'gifted' all oj his
personal property to his grandsonsl And all this was done In
the month before this 95 year old man dledl
Now, as Robert's attorney, you ask me to sign my ja-
ther's car over to Robert In order to pay my father's "debts". 1
belwoo that, as my jather's only living chad, 1 am the only one
who need sign to transfer ownership of the car. It doesn't
make any sense, however. to transfer ownership to Robert. It
would seem that Robert has already taken possession oj my ja-
ther's estate, and should have jn.r more than enough jrom the
estate to pay the debts you mention. Nor Is there any assurance
that Robert Is competent enough to pay Ilny debts, or that he
will use the proceeds jrom the cr.r to pay any debts.
1 am sure you did not mean It as a threat, but It sure
sounded like one when you write and tell me that, if 1 do not
sign, you will create more expenses by probating the will. You,
as attorney jor Robert, can do what you wish, but 1 am not In-
terested In having anything further to do with this situation
that has alrec.dy caused me much too much unnecessary un-
happiness. "
