Pennsylvania. brings the following Petition for a hearing on charges of Indirect Criminal
Contempt:
1. A Protection from Abuse Order was issued by the Coun. A true and correct copy of
the Order is attached.
2. The defendant's violation of this Order is averred in the altached criminal complaint.
3. The \;ctim requests the filing of an Indirect Criminal Contempt Charge upon
information received.
4. The District Altomey's Office approves the filing oflhis criminal complaint.
5. The Commonwealth is requesting a hearing on the charges of Indirect Criminal
Contempt pursuant to 23 Pa. ('.S.A. ~ 6114.
6. The plaintiffand/or the defendant may seek modification of the Order based on the
filing of this petition as the Coun demts appropriate following the trial in addition to any other

Defendant violated the PRCIl'Er1'IGI FROI ABUSE ORDER. 97-3874. issued on August 13, 199i,
by the Honorable Judge George E. Hoffer. to wit: defendant agrees through stipulation
to refrain from abusing or threatening their minor children and also agrees not to
stalk or harass their minor children. Defendant stopped and made threats towards
Robert Greg Canpbell, soo of defendant.
PROBABLE CAUSE: On Oecentler 12. 1997 between 1800 and 1830 hours the defendant and
Eduardo R. DeJesus stopped Robert Canpbell at Wertzville and Chester Roads. Defendant
attempted to get Robert in the car and advised that she would also be getting Roberts
sister Mary before Olristmas. ~lhen Robert ran away defendant got into the vehicle and
the vehicle swerved at him.

children in fear of imminent serious bodily injury as evidenced
by the following:
a. Approximately 5 years ago, Defendant
developed a drug habit that continues through the present;
b. Defendant began seeing her paramour
approximately 6 months ago and both children have witnessed
drug transactions between the two individuals;
c. In March or April, 1997, Defendant struck
Plaintiff with a black jack while he was sleeping;
d. During the last week of June, 1997, at
least two shots were fired through Plaintiff's kitchen
window thereafter striking the refrigerator. Both Defendant
and her paramour were seen running into the woods surround-
ing Plaintiff's residence; and
e. On July 4, 1997, Defend~nt cut a hole in
a screen window of Plaintiff's residence and ran from the
residencH upon being seen;
f. On July 14, 1997, Defendant and her
paramout an i ved at Plaint! ff' s residence and demanded that
t. tw ch.ldren leiwe with her. Deft'ndant' s p.lr,1I1l0Ur formed
his tingers into the shape of a gun and yelled somethinq
thilt was unintelligible to Plaintiff;
q. Defendant hilS persistently prowlr.d i\found
the residence despite separating from Plaintiff on or about
.June 2, 1997. Defendant has been seen looking through
various windows. This behavior has caused Robert to sleep
on lhe floor and Mary to refuse to sleep in her bed.
6. Due to Defendant's past abuse, as well as her fear of
Defendant, Plaintiff desires to have Defendant excluded from his
residence.
7. Plaintiff is the primary caretaker of the parties' minor
children and their best interests would be served to grant custo-
dy of them to Plaintiff.
WHEREFORE, pursuant to the provisions of the Protection From
Abuse Act, Act of December 19,1990, Act. No. 1990-206 (23 Pa.
C.S. ~6101,et seq.l, as amended, Plaintiff requests this Court
to:
a. Direct Defendant to refrain from abusing or threatening
to abuse Plaintiff;
b. Grant possession of the residence to Plaintiff to the
exclusion of Defendant;
C. Prohibit Defendant from having any contact with Plain-
ti ff, including, but not limited to, restraining Defendant from
harassing Plaintiff or Plaintiff's relatives or minor children:
e. Gldnt custody of the parties' minor chi ldren to Plain-

Abuse, dnd upon finding that Plaintiff RONALD L. CAMPBELL IS 1'1
Immediate and present danger of abuse from Defendant TONI S.
CAMPBELL. the following Temporary Protective Order is entered:
~efendant TONI S. CAMPBELL is enjoined from physically or
verbally abusing or threatening to abuse Plaintiff RONALD L.
CAMPBELL and their minor children.
Defendant is further excluded from the resIdence of Plaln-
tiff located at 683 Magaro Drive, Enola, Pennsylvania or any
other residence established by Plaintiff.
Pia:ntlff may proceed without pre-payment of fees pending J

The Cumberland county Sheriff's Department shall attempt to

Defendant violated the TEMPORARY PROTECTIVE ORDER, 97-3874, issued on July 17, 1997,
by the Honorable JudgeGeorge E. Hoffer, to wit: defendant was ordered to stay away fran
the residence and to refrain fran physically or verlla11y abusing or threatening to
abuse Ronald L. Caqlbell. Defendant stopped at residence and harassed Ronald.
PROBABLE CAUSE: ()l 08-03-97 at approximately 2115 hours defendant, Eduardo R. DeJesus
and unknown male stopped at the residence and threatened Ronald. At appMximately 2145
hours defendant and DeJesus returned to the residence. Defendant got into a verbal
confrontation with Ronald. Defendant admitted to officer that she was given a paper
fran the courts by Ronald a week earlier. Defendant was also aware that she was not
to be at the residence but she wanted to see her children.

children in fear of imminent serious bodily injury as evidenced
by the following:
a. Approximately 5 years ago, Defendant
developed a drug habit that continues through the present;
b. Defendant began seeing her paramour
approXimately 6 months ago and both children have witnessed
drug transactions between the two individuals;
c. In March or April, 1997, Defendant struck
Plaintiff with a black jack while he was sleeping;
d. During the last week of June, 1997, at
least two shots were fired through Plaintiff's kitchen
window thereafter striking the refrigerator. Both Defendant
and her paramour' were seen running into the woods surround-
ing Plaintiff's residence; and
e. On July 4, 1997, Defendant cut a hole in
a screen window of Plaintiff's residence and ran from the
residence u~~n being seen;
r. On July 14, 1997, Defendant and her
paramour arrived at Plaintiff's residence and demanded that
the childn~n It'iove with her. Defendant's pah\mOUr formed
his fln\lers Into th,' 5 tl.lIH' of it qun and yelled somethinq

the residence despite separating from Plaintiff on or about
June 2, 1997. Defendant has been seen looking through
various windows. This behavior has caused Robert to sleep
on the floor and Mary to refuse to sleep in her bed.
6. Due to Defendant's past abuse, as well as her fear of
Defendant, Plaintiff desires to have Defendant excluded from his
residence.
7. Plaintiff is the primary caretaker of the parties' minor
children and their best interests would be served to grant custo-
dy of them to Plaintiff.
WHEREFORE, pursuant to the provisions of the Protection From
Abuse Act, Act of DeceDber 19,1990, Act. No. 1990-206 (23 Pa.
C.S. ~6101,et seq.l, as amended, Plaintiff requests this Court
to:
a. Direct Defendant to refrain from abusing or threatening
to abuse Plaintiff;
b. Grant possession of the residence to Plaintiff to the
exclusion of Defendant;
c. Prohibit Defendant from having any contact with Plain-
tiff. including, but not limited to, restraining Defendant frOlll
harassing Plaintiff or I'laintiff's relatives or minor children;

to refrain fran abusing or threatening their minor children and also agrees not to
stalk or harass their minor children. Defendant stepped and made threats towards
Robert Greg Canl*>ell, son of defendant.
PROBABLE CAUSE: On Decerrber 12, 1997 between 1800 and 1830 hcurs the defendant and
