LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF EDWARD L. WERTZ
I, EDWARD L. WERTZ, of tha Township of Monroe, County of Cumberland,
State of Pennsylvania, being of sound and disposing mind, memory and
understanding, do make, publish and declare this to ba my Last Will and
Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at
any time heretofore made.
1.
I direct the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses as
soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
2.
All the rest, residue and remainder of my Estate, real, personsl
and mixed, whatsoever and wheresoaver situate, I give, devise and
bequeath to my beloved wife, Betty J. Wertz, to her own use and benefit
absolutely.
3.
In the event, however, that my aaid wife should predecease ma, or
should die at about the same time as I die, such as in a disaster common
to both of us, I give, devise and baqueath my estate to be divided into
five (5) equal shares to my five daughters: Barbara A. Minnich, Karen L.
Wertz, Kim E. Wertz, Tracy K. Weller, and Diane M. Francis. In the event,
that any of them should predecease without children their share is to
ba divided equally between my other surviving daughters. If any of
them should predecease with living children. their share shall go to
their children per stirpes.
Should any of my grandchildren inherit through my Will, and should
they be minors at the time of my death, then I appoint as Guardian of
any funds passing to them while they are a minor, my daughter Karen L.
Wertz. Should she be unable or unwilling to serve as such Guardian for
any reason, then as alternate Guardian I appoint my daughter Barbara A.
Minnich. The Guardian shall hava the right to distribute income
and so much of the principal as may be needed for the comfortable support
and maintenance of any of my said minor grandchildren. Tha decision of my

4.
LASTLY, I nominate, constitute and appoint my wife, Betty J. Wertz,
to be the Executrix of thie my Last Will and Testament. If she should
predecease me, or for any other reason is unable to sct as such Executrix,
I appoint my daughter, Karen L. Wertz, to be the Executrix in her place
and eteed. I further direct that neither of them shall be required to
file bond or other security in the Office of the Register of Wills for
the purpose of administering my Estate.
