In regard to our phone conversation on this day, you requested as to where
the funds carne from to open eight (8) certificates of Deposit that were joint
between the above mentioned decedent or William E. Manning.
According to our records, on April 13, 1995 a Savings Account, 15332601840,
was closed out in the amount of $11,763.02. The title on the Savings Account
was Marion E. Manning (only) with William E. Manning as a Power of Attorney. On
the same day, the eight (8) certificates of Deposit were opened. Three (3) of
the Certificates of Deposit were for $2,500.00 and the remaining five (5) were
for $500.00. All eight (8) of these accounts were titled William E. Manning or
Marion E. Manning. Also on April 13, 1995, a deposit was made into the Checking
Account for $763.02 which is owned by Marion E. Manning (only). Enclosed you
will find a copy of the signature card for the above mentioned Savings Account
as proof of ownership prior to its closing.
