This is in reaponse to your request for an extenaion of time
to file the Inheritance Tax Return and requeat for extension of time
for payment of tax for the above eatete.
In accordance with Section 1736(d) of the Inheritance and
Estate Tax Act 255 of 1982, the time for filine the return is extended
for an additional period of aix (6) months. This sxtension will avoid
the imposition of a psnalty for failure to make a timely return.
Jlowsvsr, it doss not prevent intereot from accruine on any tax remain-
ing unpaid after delinquent date.
The return muet be filed with the Reeister of Wills on or
before September 18, 1996. Becauoe Section 1736(d) of the 1982 Act
allows for only one (1) extra period of six (6) months, no additional
extensions(s) will be granted thst would exceed the maximum time
permitted.
In accordance with Section 1750 of the Inheritance Estate Tax
Act of 1982, we acknowledeo receipt of your request for an extension
to pay any liability which may be due on this estate. Jlowever, the
Department cannot mske a determination on eranting such an extension
to pay until the Inheritance Tax Return is filed with tho Department
and the aseeoement of tax hao been iosued. At that point the
Dapartment will review the eetate record to determine if the request
has been mado for reasonable cause, and if approved whether or not a
bond will be required to protoct the interest of the Commonwealth.

DECREE
AND NOW, this 19th day of OECEMBER, 1996, upon petition of
Yvonne N, Carver, Adam F, J. Carver and Heather L. Carver, it is
hereby ordered and decreed that cynthia A. Carver, natural
guardian of Yvonne N. Carver, Adam F. J. Carver and Heather L.
Carver, minor children, is hereby authorized to receive the
distribution of the assets due the said minor children from the
Estate of John A, Carver, deceased, without the appointment of a
guardian of the estate of the said minor children or the entry of
any security. Said assets shall be deposited in a separate
savings account for each minor child at 'Mellon Bank, federally
insured depository, in the name of the minor and marked as
follows I
