Neff provided, in item FIRST, a bequest of One Thousand and 00/100 ($1,000,00) Dollars to the decedent's granddaughter, Brooke Malloy, A true and correct copy of the Last Will and Testament of Dorothy F. Neff is attached hereto as Exhibit "A", 3. Brooke Malloy is a minor, and was born on November 3, 1982. 4. The Last Will and Testament of Dorothy F. Neff provided, in item SIXTH, for the appointment of Farmers Trust Company of Carlisle as guardian of any property which passes to a beneficiary under 21 years of age with respect to which the testatrix was authorized to appoint a guardian and had not otherwise specifically done so. 5. The amount of the bequest is too small to make the 2 appointment of a guardian feasible, 6, 20 Pa. C.S,A, !i5103 and Local Rule 12.5-3 permit the Court, without the appointment of a guardian, to order funds of a minor to be deposited in one or more savings accounts in the name of the minor in banks, buildings and loan associations insured by a federal government agency, provided that the amount deposited in anyone such savings institution shall not exceed the amount to which accounts are insured, and further provided that restrictions are placed on the withdrawal of such funds from any such account until the minor attains his majority, except as authorized by order of the Court. 7, Farmers Trust Company, a division of Financial Trust Company, has renounced the right to act under item SIXTH of the Last Will and Testament of Dorothy F. Neff. A true and correct copy of the renunciation letter is attached hereto as Exhibit "B", 8. It is suggested that Farmers Trust Services Company be named depositary of the funds in a sequestered deposit, pursuant to 20 Pa. C.S.A. !i5103 and Local Rule 12.5-3. 9. Item SIXTH of Dorothy F.
