The Cumberland-Franklin Joint Municipal Authority files its claim in the amount of
four hundred eighty-four and 00/100 Dollars ($484.00), plus costs and late fees of
twenty-two and 90/100 dollars ($22.90), and reasonable attorney's fees of one hundred
fifty and 00/100 Dollars ($150.00), for a total of six hundred fifty-six and 90/100 Dollars
($656.90) and sets further in support thereof the following:
1. Claimant is Cumberland-Franklin Joint Municipal Authority, with its
principal office located at 725 Municipal Drive, Shippensburg, Franklin County,
Pennsylvania 17257.
2. The name of the owner of the property against which this municipal lien is
filed is The Estate of Lillie L. Shoemaker, c/o Jerry A. Weigle, Esquire, whose address
is 126 East King Street, Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, 17257.
3. The property against which this municipal lien is filed is all that tract of
land, with improvements thereon bound, situated in the Township of Southampton,
County of Cumberland, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being known and municipally
numbered as 107 Neil Road, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania and being improved with a
single family dwelling.
4. The Authority under which this lien is filed is the Municipal Claims Act of
1923, P.L. 207, as amended, (53 P.S. Sections 7101, et seq.).
5. This Municipal Lien is filed to secure an interest for sewer rental charges
under account number 01210, levied, assessed, or established for a period up to and
including December 1, 2002.
6. Statement of Claim: See attached Exhibit A reflecting details supporting
total due.
7. The sewer rentals were duly established, levied, and assessed by the
Cumberland-Franklin Joint Municipal Authority, being the lawful Authority for doing so
under the several Acts of Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania which
governs such matters, and were levied, established and assessed for the purpose of
providing water service to the properties of said Borough.
