Ruhy Ci. Mei/ler hereinaner referred to as Owner, whereby the former undertook and agreed to
construct sidewalk improvements in the Borough of Carlisle,
NOW, THEREFORE, TIllS AGREEMENT WITNESSETII: That the said Contructor, for and
in consideration of the sumof$I.QO in hand paid by Owner, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, and the further considerution mentioned in the Agreement aloresaid, for
themselves and their subcontructors, and all parties acting through or under them, covenant and
agree that no mechanic's liens or claims shull h,' liled or maintained hy Ih,'m or any oflhem
against the said buildings and the lot of ground appurtenant thereto lor or on account of any work
done or materials furnished by them or any ofthcm under said contruct or otherwisc, for,
towards, in, or about the erection and construction of the said buildings on the lot above
described and the said Contractor, lor themselves, their subcontructors and others under them
hereby exprcssly waive and rclinquishes the right to have, tile, and maintain any mcchanic's liens
or claims against the said buildings or any of them, and agrec that this instrument, waiving the
right of lien, shall be an independent covenant.
