hereinafter referred 10 as Owner, whereby Ihe fonner undertook and agreed to perfonn
a housing rehabilitalion projecl in the Borough of Lemoyne, P A
~OW THEREFORE, THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: Thatlhe said Conlraclor,
for and in consideralion oflhe sum 01'($1.00) Dollar to Owner., in hand paid by Owner, Ihe
receipl whereof is hereby acknowledged, and the further consideration menlioned in Ihe
agreemenl aforesaid, for Ihemselves and Iheir subconlractors, and all parties acling Ihrough or
under them, covenanl and agree thai no mechanic's lien or claims shall be filed or maintained by
them or any of them againsllhe said buildings and Ihe 101 of ground appurtenanl therelo for any
or on accounl of any work done or materials fumished by Ihem or any of them under said
contracl or otherwi,~e, for, towards, in or
aboullhe erection and construclion of Ihe said buildings on Ihe lot above described and
Ihe said Contractor, for Ihemselves, Iheir subconlraclors and olhers under Ihem hereby
expressly waive and relinquish the righlto have, file, and maintain any mechanic's liens
or claims against the said buildings or any of Ihem, and agree thallhis inslrumenl, waiving
Ihe righl of lien, shall be an independenl covenant.
