PROMISSORY NOTE AND CONFESSION OF JUDGMENT
FOR VALUE RECEIVED, the undersigned makers, jointly and
severally, this 1st day of November, 1996, promise to pay to the
order of George F, Kettle, Enterprises, L.L.C., of McLean,
Virginia, the sum of Four Hundred Thirteen Thousand, Nine Hundred
Twenty-Four ano 64/1UO Dollars ($413,924.64), with interest
thereon at the rate of 10% per annum.
The first payment of interest and principal will be due and
payable on February 1, 1997, in the amount of $15,000,00 On
April 1, 1997, monthly payments will begin in the sum of $10,000
interest and principal with payments due on the first of each and
every month thereafter until the entire balance, including
accrued interest, is paid, The amounts paid shall be applied
first to interest due with the balance applied to principal
reduction.
The entire sum of principal and accrued interest shall be
fully payable on October 31, 2001.
The undersigned shall have the right to prepay without
penalty. In the event any payment due hereunder is not made when
due, the entire balance shall be immediately due at the option of
the holder,
In the event of default, the undersigned agrees to pay all
reasonable attorney fees and costs of collection,
Each maker, sUI'ety, guarantor or endorser of this Note
waives presentation of payment, notice of non-payment, protest
